On hiring a car in Timaru
Our data shows that Timaru, along with other isolated cities in Australia, book out of rental cars during peak seasons (i.e., school holidays and major city events) because of the limited amount of rental cars available by providers in the area. We recommend always booking well in advance for this location.
If there is an available car from Avis you can collect from the Timaru City depot and return to the Avis depot at the airport.
