The per-day rates of some rental cars may fall if you book for a longer rental period. Prices often change around daily, three-day, five-day and seven-day periods. Also, note that the selection of rental cars available in Ezi may be more limited if you are looking for a long-term car rental, so itâs best to compare a few different booking durations first.
AMEX, Mastercard, and Visa credit cards, and Mastercard and Visa debit cards are accepted for rental vehicle payments with Ezi Car Rental. The nominated card must have available funds equal to the estimated cost of the rental, plus a security bond in order to secure the booking.
Ezi Car Rentalâs deposit policy requires a pre-authorisation hold on your credit or debit card for the duration of your rental for a security deposit. The deposit amount, also known as a holding deposit or security bond varies subject to the vehicle class and type of card used. Upon the return of your hire car, and pending any additional charges, a deposit refund will revoke the pre-authorisation from your card. Please note that the deposit refund time for the deposit return to appear on your statement can be as long as 15 business days, with three to seven days being more common â this delay is dependent on your bank. For more information regarding the Security Deposit/Bond please refer to the Important Information box in the booking process, once you have selected your Ezi Car Rental rental.
The Ezi Car Rental age restriction for rental car drivers requires a minimum age of 20 years old, and there is no maximum age.
Ezi Car Rental accepts any valid driver licence that has been held for at least 12 months. The licence must be printed in English, otherwise an International Driving Permit (IDP) will be required. Learning permits and provisional licences are not accepted. Ezi Car Rental also recommends that renters wanting to use a digital licence also carry a hard copy of their licence.
Yes, Ezi Car Rental allows you to add extra drivers to your Rental Agreement, but their additional driver policy subjects the drivers to the same regulations as the primary driver, and they are limited to the number of passengers the vehicle is legally licensed to carry. For further information, please see the âImportant Informationâ section for details specific to your rental vehicle.
Yes. Ezi Car Rental includes a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) in the hire car rental quote, but if the vehicle is stolen, involved in an accident, is damaged in some other way, or a third-party loss occurs while the vehicle is in your possession, the damage policy holds that youâll have to pay the damage charges up to the Rental Vehicle Excess amount listed in your Ezi Car Rental Rental Agreement. The excess refers to the amount you are liable for before the basic cover applies and the amount of this damage excess can vary depending on the type of vehicle, the age of the renter, and a number of other variables. For an extra daily cost, Ezi Car Rental offers excess reduction coverage in the form of a Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) which reduces the excess charge, but be sure to read through your detailed Rental Agreement to see what car damage is and is not covered. Prosura is another excess insurance option to consider if you are looking for comprehensive excess reduction coverage.
Yes. Roadside assistance is included for all mechanical defects not resulting from human error or misuse of the rental vehicle. In the instance of non-mechanical issues, such as lost keys, keys locked in the vehicle, or a flat battery due to lights being left on, Ezi Car Rental may charge you a call-out fee.
You are responsible for paying tolls directly to the toll provider. If you do not pay yourself, you will be charged by Ezi Car Rental along with a surcharge. For more information, please see the âImportant Informationâ section for details specific to your rental vehicle, or contact our customer care team.
Most Ezi Car Rental hire cars come with unlimited kilometres, however, if a kilometre limit on driving distance does apply to your rental car, the daily kilometre allowance will be shown on your Rental Agreement. If you drive in excess of this daily allowance, a charge may apply for the additional distance.
If you return your rental vehicle to Ezi Car Rental with less fuel than it started with, in accordance with its fuel policy, Ezi Car Rental will charge you at a premium rate per litre to refuel the vehicle.
If your hire car rental period is yet to commence, you can modify your booking within the VroomVroomVroom app or by contacting our customer care team to make the required changes. If you have already collected your Ezi Car Rental hire car, youâll need to contact the depot you collected the vehicle from to request an extra day â or whatever extension period is desired. Bear in mind that any change to the rental period â regardless of if it is before you have collected the car or after â may alter the total cost of your hire car. If you need to cancel your booking, if you paid a deposit at the time of your booking with Ezi Car Rental through VroomVroomVroom, then you need to give at least 48 hours notice of your cancellation in order to receive a refund.
